Manaslu is the eighth highest mountain in the world at 26,759 feet and is part of the Nepalese Himalayas.  The trip begins with a helicopter flight from Kathmandu directly to Samagaun. After a couple of days acclimatization you make your way to Base Camp.  From Base Camp, there is a short walk over loose rock to the beginning of the Larkya glacier and crampon point – where we make our ascent of Manaslu.  I climbed with Himalayan Experience and Russell Brice summiting September 25, 2014.
