UN Women (2022 & 2017)– Proving women have no ceilings on Blue Origin’s NS-22 and showing women can rise to the challenge on K2.
iMediSync (2022) – Using iSyncWave’s 19 channel dry EEG/HRV headset, Vanessa was able to measure her brain activity from astronaut village before and after she boarded NS-22 to space to capture the Overview Effect. The iSync platform consists of wearable EEG recordings, a cloud-based AI analysis, and EEG-guided digital therapeutics including NIR photobiomodulation.

Arc’Teryx – Community Ambassador (2017-2022) – Arc’Teryx Soho has taken its ethos in innovation and high performance to partner locally with Vanessa O’Brien and US Nepal Climbers Association to inspire its local community to go outdoors. A number of events have been held and community teams succeeded in legislating for the New York Assembly to recognize May 29th as Mt. Everest Day.
